Orlando Bass Fishing in Magical Lake Toho!

Even when we the cold fronts come you still have great days bass fishing on Lake Toho

The Fox family from Virginia were extremely awesome time catching trophy bass.

The day started with the first bait in the water getting hit before the second bait got to
settled in the water. We had two boats fishing on Lake Toho for a total of 40 + fish.

A nice 9 lb. large-mouth Florida stain blank bass made up the kicker fish, followed by a 8lb beast and good looking 6.5lb trophy. Not a bad day for a cold front!

A Prayer one Big Bass on Lake Toho

I had Pastor Grady Coven on board for some Bass Fishing in Orlando on Saturday Oct 3, 2009. Pastor Grady is from Alabama and very familiar with fishing for largemouth bass.

To start the day Pastor Grady said his prayers, Lord allow one big fish to bite my bait.
Amen.

The Pastor landed quite a few fish and one trophy as seen above.

The Lake Toho monster bass weighted in at 8 1/2 pounds and the blessing for the day was answered.

Also noted, for a 8 1/2 pound bass it was a big thick specimen of a Florida largemouth, a real healthy summertime fish.

We appreciate your business and look forward to fishing with in the future.

Free Fishing Trip to Preferred Reward Customers

I was fortunate to be able to fish with Captain John Leech this past Monday. My niece and her husband won a trip while in Orlando visiting Bass Pro Shops during the preferred rewards customer appreciation night. They both knew how much I love to fish, so they invited me to go on the guided fishing trip. I drove up from Port Charlotte where I love to fish Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf, and met my nephew. Captain John was at our meeting place when we both arrived. To be honest I haven’t fish for bass since the mid 80’s in Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron, so I was very excited about this opportunity.

Captain John was a great guide, he taught us how to use plastic lures, put us on fish, was very friendly and an all around nice guy. What a day we had, great weather, fishing and good company, I couldn’t ask for more. I would love to fish with John again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a super fishing experience.

I would like to thank Bass Pro Shops for this trip and of course my niece for asking…

Orlando 67 Days of Smiles – Stacey and Kyle are a couple life long friends and are now friends of ours. Originally from Michigan now residing in New York, they enter a promotional contest offer by Orlando and won the whole thing!

As winners of the Orlando 67 Days of Smiles contest Stacey and Kyle have gotten to experience just about every attraction in Orlando. Our goal was to bring the Orlando Outdoors to Stacey and Kyle, so what better way then to experience the two most impressive indoor and outdoor activities in Orlando, World famous bass fishing with Florida’s largest fishing guide service “BASSonline Fishing Outfitter” and to shop till you drop, with the World’s largest Hunting and Fishing retailer, “Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World.”

The excursion started by meeting at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World at 5:45am. We all know how important it is to look the part, so after distributing the FREE hats and shirts Bass Pro graciously offered. We headed off to one of Orlando’s most popular big bass lakes, Lake Toho world famous for producing trophy bass. We knew in the back of my minds, even if the fish didn’t bite the beautiful scenery and wildlife would leave a stunning impression.

When we arrived at the lake everyone genuinely sounded and looked very excited to get started. After the guides put the boats in the water and everyone toured the Big Toho Marina, off we went in the boats where the real adventure was just about to begin.

Once we arrived at our first location, it took no time at all before the first fish was reeled in. That one came from the guys boat, yes it was the guys against the girls for now. After several more fish were caught the kidding back and forth escalated to lots of laughter. Thankfully all went as planned, the fish bit and the bald eagles flew overhead as if they were watching the whole thing. Bass were caught by everyone and yes some fish were missed(Stacey) but it was all in fun and part of an Orlando Outdoor adventure that everyone will never forget.

NASCAR Fans Now Have a Second Opportunity to Fish With Their Favorite Drivers
While Raising Money for Charity
Daytona Beach – February 22, 2006 – The Darrell Gwynn Foundation announced it will add a second “Hot Rods & Reels™” charity fishing tournament. The new event will take place at the Daytona International Speedway during the Daytona 500 Weekend, beginning in 2007. The charity event raises money for the Darrell Gwynn Foundation to Cure Paralysis and the Betty Jane France Pediatric Center, Speediatricsâ, at Halifax and Homestead Hospitals, and has taken place during the Homestead-Miami Speedway Ford 500 Championship Weekend for the past four years.
Tournament organizers will provide two spots on each fishing boat available for corporate or private purchase, with participants having the opportunity to fish with the likes of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup drivers Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Kyle Petty, Bobby Labonte, plus other leading NASCAR NEXTEL Cup drivers. Previous tournament have also featured fishing opportunities with other racing celebrities including legendary team owner Richard Childress, and former NASCAR NEXTEL Cup champs turned broadcasters Darrell Waltrip and Benny Parsons, among others.
The tournament will take place on the morning of Saturday, February 17, 2007 on Lake Lloyd, the Speedway's 29-acre infield lake. Each driver/celebrity will be teamed with two guest anglers in their own bass boat featuring an International Game Fish Association (IGFA) recognized guide.
The charity fishing event will also include the Miccosukee Million, a chance drawing for a million dollars. The angler successfully landing the heaviest largemouth bass or peacock bass will then select from one of 250 envelopes, one of which containing the $1 million grand prize.
